In the second quarter of 2025, the performance of the leading social networking applications in Malta showed varied trends across downloads and revenue, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Threads saw a consistent pattern in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 1.3K in mid-June before declining slightly to 841 by the end of the quarter. The app did not generate any revenue during this period.

Telegram Messenger experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, with a high of $1K in early May. Weekly downloads remained relatively stable, hovering around 800, with a peak of 886 in mid-May.

Life360: Stay Connected & Safe showed a gradual increase in weekly revenue, reaching $536 by mid-June. Downloads also increased towards the end of the quarter, peaking at 566 in the last week of June.

Google Meet maintained a steady download rate, with a slight increase in late April, reaching 378 downloads. The app did not report any revenue during this quarter.

Discord - Talk, Play, Hang Out saw a significant increase in weekly revenue, peaking at $518 in mid-May. Downloads varied, with a high of 380 in early May and a stable trend towards the end of the quarter.
